i think 060606 is a real cool date. i mean, not just because it is 6 june 2006, but hey, how rare is it to get the combi 060606? haha! so yes =P i'm being random.

was out with my dad today for lunch. went to this place we used to frequent for many years now. ever since i was in primary school? P2? and my sis in K2. i remember our dad used to tompang us, with the bicycle, one in front and one at the back, both seats personally made by him and he'd bring us many places to eat lunch. and one place we really liked was mei yuen. they sell really good wanton (that looks wrong) noodles.

so yes. we used to eat there on the hot afternoons after school, short little me, pinafore WAYYYYY past my knees and i'd tried to peek thru this gap to see the uncle chopping up the char siew and duck. (imagine a fence and peeping thru the gaps cos you arent tall enough to look over =P). used to be REALLY fascinated. no idea why. and the uncle used to tease me about being so vertically challenged.

and today, when i went back there to eat. heh. i had the privilege of looking right over that 'fence', and i gave the uncle that kinda smug look, kinda like 'hey, too bad, cant tease me now' thing. and he just laughed =P felt like laughing right along. they've seen me grow man. the lady who always serves us? she's seen me from when i was that short to like now (aint v tall but hey, still much taller than then). she'll always ask dad about my sis and i and stuff. how old i am now, how's studies and stuff. how much we've grown. it isnt the kind of way relatives say it, just asking for the sake of asking, but the kind that will seriously make you think and go, yea.. i've grown that much...

haha.. and yes. i think i've grown. definitely. past 18 years.. man. i'm old. haha! 2 more years to big 2. sheesh =P from this really self righteous toddler who sang almost everywhere even in her MRI scan (how traumatizing for the doctors) to this 7 year old who cried almost everyday because she had to go to school to the 8 year old who started loving school right up to now. i was really cute when i was young. i DO wonder what happened =P kidding. RARR.

and yes. i'm happy =D but...

18 years is really old. gosh.
